INDIZA WINS KENYA @50 PROS EVENT AT MUTHAIGA

Mumias’ Dismas Indiza once again proved he is the best golf professional in the country today after he shook off a strong challenge to win the 36-hole Kenya at 50 Golf Festival by five shots, on 4-under par, 138 at the Muthaiga Golf Club.
He bettered his opening round of level par (71), shooting a 67 (4-under) to take home a cheque of Sh50, 000.
Youngster Nelson Mundanyi was the only other player to shoot a sub-par round of 69 and took second spot, tied with Thika’s Njuguna Ngugi. Both were one-over, aggregate 143 bot earning Sh 30, 000.
Brian Njoroge, winner of the KCB Grand Finale in Diani was in fourth place, 3-over par 145, with Anil Shah and Richard Ainley in fifth position tied.
The first round of the 54 holes, amateur event starts Thursday morning, 12 December.
